What’s the entire buzz about GVO?

GVO (Global Virtual Opportunities) formerly Kiosk is a company owned by Joel Therien who has a 12 year track of experience in the network marketing and internet marketing industries.

GVO has rapidly created a big buzz in the internet marketing and the MLM , Network marketing arenas due to the fact that it is the only company online that has the knowhow and the expertise to join these two very important business models in a once in a lifetime opportunity.

What makes GVO such an incredible business opportunity?

The answer to this question is twofold:

First of all when you get your hosting package through GVO you will have access to several services like:

  • unlimited autoresponder system,
  • complete video marketing system with easy video producer and video hosting,
  • full audio and video conferencing system,
  • downtime monitoring software, that not only are included but that will also mean significant savings compared to buying all these services separately.

Second, you will have the opportunity to participate in a MLM compensation plan that is much more than a simple affiliate program and makes it an entire business in itself, let me explain:

How are you compensated?

To motivate you to promote the business, GVO pays you 50% commission on the first month of every person that is directly sponsored by you.

Then we have the 2 x 10 Binary Hybrid Matrix Plan that will pay you 5% per month of up to 10 levels down making this a full matrix of 2,046 people and that alone will earn you $4,600.00 per month!

Wait! It gets even better because you will also get a 20% matching bonus on your personal referrals down to 10 levels.

Once you have a downline of 14 people or more then you earn a new profit position in the matrix that you can also make money off of.

What guarantees that people will stay?

If you have been online for some time and you are serious about building an internet business, you know that in today’s market, these are tools that you or any internet marketer can’t afford not to have and that you will be using on a daily basis and that is the key that makes the compensation plan a very successful one.

With this business model you will build an organization of avid and constant users who will be using the services everyday to run their businesses and therefore will be happy to keep paying their monthly fee!

How do I join?

At GVO we even give you the opportunity to try us and fall in love with our services before you commit to a longer stay.

Hope your find everything you are looking for under one roof with unsurpassed quality, see you inside!

What are you thankful for today?

Google knows! Or does it?

But does it tell you what you really want?

I sent out a promo for my GVO Hosting and some commentary about having a web presence.  A friend said “thanks for your kind offer but by typing in my name into the net, all my entries show up, eg divorce work, elder entries and (company name) entries”.

Now, think about this.  If you are trying to get new business, do you think they will search your name?

When I did a Google search for divorce financial planner, I got a much different result than my friend did with his name.  He didn’t show up.  I searched “elder financial planner” and didn’t see him in the first three pages.  One link that looked like it might be related to him had one of the other consultants in his office and that guy was the fourth person on that list.  Knowing the two of them, the guy I had emailed is the more experienced in that particular area.  Yet Google gave me the person with the lesser experience.

When Google provides answers to your searches, it is trying to help give you what it THINKS you want.  It knows where the computer you are searching from sits and provides what it thinks are services close to you.  I wonder if there is any bias to people who are paying for their advertising?

What are you doing to tie your name to what you do on the Internet?  If you are not the owner of the company, you may find that the company is more interested in promoting at the top level.  We all compete for business.  Even internally.

For example, a financial services firm with a few thousand consultants does nothing to promote the individual consultant.  Sure, they give them a page.  But the company is branding the company, not you.

Have you ever thought about something like a personal blog site?  Give enough information in your blogs that Google “sees” the connection and all of a sudden, you may find that when you search “elder financial planner”, your name actually shows up rather than just the company or another umbrella organization like Advocis, Linked In, Facebook or Google+.

Maybe Barry’s GVO Web Hosting is just the tool you need to help you gain that competitive edge.  Just maybe.

Will you be the one to float to the top?

Make it a great day!

Looks really matter. In life and in business.

Why do looks matter?

Picture of what Barry looks like.

Thinking out loud.

First impressions.  When  we meet someone, the first thing that happens is that they literally see us.  We haven’t had a chance to utter a word and yet people are already making a decision on whether or not to continue with the interchange.  Some people are superficial and will make an immediate decision on whether or not they “like” us.  Others will wait for some exchange of words before adding that information to the visual information being used for assessment.

Looks matter but this doesn’t mean that you have to be the most handsome or prettiest person.  You will be to the people that matter if you always put your best face forward.  Hair and teeth clean and brushed.  Clothes neat and appearance tidy.  Coordinated wardrobe. Those are some of the things that matter more than your physical attributes because you have control over those and how you present yourself is a reflection of how you think.  That matters.

You won’t appeal to everyone and that’s OK!  Focus on who you want to spend time with.  Be appealing to them because that’s who matters.  If your prospect doesn’t like to be around sloppy people, don’t be sloppy.  The thing to remember is that you need to be appealing while still being true to yourself.  Don’t be someone you’re not.

How does this apply to business?

People like to deal with those they know, like and trust.  In order to gain their attention, you have to appeal to them.  Not everything is about looks but, looks matter because they are likely to see you before they ever get a chance to hear you.

Signage, location, web site.  These are all part of your “look”.  Think about yourself the first time you hit a web site.  If there isn’t something that catches your eye when you first land there, how likely is it you will look any further?  Don’t worry about what YOU think looks good.  Figure out what looks good to your prospect, that’s where looks matter most in business.  Be attractive so that your prospects will take the time to get to know, like and trust you.

Define your look and then get out there!

Now that you understand why looks matter, define your look and then get out there in front of people.  Join networking groups.  Let people you deal with every day get to know you by being in front of them and participating.  Make sure your web site is appealing and spread your message.  Pure Leverage and GVO Marketing tools are a great way to get started with that!

Become who you want to be.

We can all change our look.  Personal development should be part of your ongoing education strategy.  Read.  Attend seminars.  Associate with the people you want to be like.  But, never lose sight of yourself by trying to be someone else.  You will change just by learning.  Do you realize that reading just 10 pages a day can change your life?  Don’t think you have time to read?  Take a book to the bathroom!  Reading 10 pages a day adds up to about 12-15 books a year.  Make what you choose to read count.  I would start with Jeff Olson’s “The Slight Edge“.

Make it a great day!

Barry

P.S.  What am I thankful for today?  I’m thankful for my GVO.  I’m thankful for social network sites.  I’m thankful for each new day God blesses me with.

It’s a small world! Be careful what you say out there!

It's a small world with GVO!Once again, yesterday was a great example of this being such a small world!

Every day, I ride the Greyhound to Toronto for work.  Many days, there is a nice gentleman that I share small talk with, weather etc.  Always very polite and friendly.

The small world shrunk again!

Yesterday, that gentleman started sharing stories about the travels of his son and we somehow ended up talking about where we came from.  And then the world shrunk again!  We both grew up in Hamilton, Ontario!

After some further conversation, he gave me his tablet for a couple of minutes to hear a song his son had recorded.  Then I saw his last name.  That twigged some memories and I asked a few questions.  That’s when the small world thing kicked in again and it shrunk even more!  I had described a young girl with the same last name and he said “that sounds like my cousin”.  It turns out that his cousin lived next door to me when I was very young.

Be careful with the three foot rule!

All of this to say that I believe in the three foot rule.  I also believe that it’s important to remember that this great big world of ours becomes a small world in a hurry some days.  We need to be very cognizant of what we say because you never know when the world will shrink before your very eyes!

My wife and I often run into people hundreds of miles away that have connections close to home.  It’s a small world and there are plenty of people to reach out to.  Now get out there and make new friends, they just might reconnect you to some old ones again!

Make it a great day,

Barry

P.S.  What am I thankful for today?  I’m thankful it really is a small world.  I’m thankful for new people who come into my life.  I’m thankful my parents taught me the simple rule:  If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all!
