Are You Having Fun Yet?

Work Hard . . . But Have Fun, Too!

One of the best things for me about the business I have
ID-100105290
from home is that I have FUN with this business.

 

I have fun with the product! I have fun talking to people about it! I have fun making an income this way!


Sure beats dressing up and going to an office each day!


Let’s face it – it’s a volunteer business and no one
is holding a gun to your head, right?

You can make the choice
each day how much or how little time you are going to
put into your business.


You can make the choice about whether or not to enjoy

the journey to the success you desire.


You can decide whether or not to have FUN with your

business.


And, let’s face it – people prefer to be around those who ARE

fun and you are HAVING fun, right?


So, set some FUN strategies for your business –


Set some happy goals – these are goals that bring a smile

to your face!


Laugh – it is the music of the soul. Light your favorite candle

and LAUGH out loud. Isn’t it fun?


Remember that if you want to BE happy, you have to

think happy!

Make a list of 10 things you can do to bring more fun to your
business. Don’t wait! Make that list right now.

Get out a piece of
paper and pen and number 1 through 10 and write down 10 fun things
you will do THIS week in your business.  Then put them into action!

People will see you having fun, they will sense it, and they will want to know more
about it. When you are having fun with your business
you are MUCH more successful.


When you are having fun with your business it shows…and GROWS!

Make A Choice. . . For Success!

Make choices that will advance you along your success journey.

Everyday we make choices. . . some better than others.

Here is something Brian Tracy wrote –

“Plan every day in advance. Planning is bringing the future
into the present so you can do something about it NOW!”


Here are some good choices to make on a daily basis…
These are not only good for your business, but also for life in general!


Choose To. . .its-your-choice


Be happy, after all it is a choice.


See the good in people and situations.
There is always a
silver lining.


Be kind, and don’t always worry about being right. 

After all,
in most situations where there is a disagreement,  you will ONLY EVER be right in your own eyes. So be kind instead.


Dream big – ask yourself – why not me and why not NOW?


Take at least one action step in your business every day.


If you feel like quitting, put it off until tomorrow.


Then, get out your goals; your written reason WHY and take a look
at your dream book. Tomorrow, ask yourself if it is REALLY
worth quitting over.


Work on solutions, not challenges. There is a solution to

everything.


Life is great, isn’t it? Certainly better than the alternative.

What You Do…Duplicates…

…The Good and the Bad!

Is your business where you want it to be?

I recently attended an industry training event.
I always enjoy these events because I’m able to learn from others
who have already created the level of success I am also pursuing.

You can learn so much from those
that have already walked the path you have chosen!

There was a common message shared with many of these industry leaders, and that was to focus on “what works” and teach your team to do the same thing.

So if your business isn’t growing the way you want it to
(or you think it should be), take a look in the mirror.


Whatever YOU are doing NOW in your business,
is exactly what is duplicating…
Good or Bad.

So you may want to ask yourself the following questions. . .

– How many new prospects do you call each day?
– Do you consistently follow-up with prospects, customers, and team members?
– How many company events have you attended in the last couple of weeks?  Month? 
– Do attend your company’s annual event?
– Are you a product of your product?
– Do you project a positive energy through out your team?…or a negative one?

If something in your business needs to change…the change has to start with YOU!

Focus on the business building activities that will
GROW your business…
and THAT WILL DUPLICATE!

Follow-up. . .It Is Vital To Your Business!

The FORTUNE is FOUND in the FOLLOW-UP!

Anyone in sales, that has had any amount of success, will tell you this. 
The fortune really is found in the follow-up.


Anyone in sales will also tell you that rarely will you get a “close” on the first exposure to your business and/or product.

But yet, this seems to be one area where
most new business NeverFailFollowUp1professionals drop the ball.  (Some experienced ones, too!)

Across the board, I see it from traditional sales people (realtors, auto sales, insurance, etc.), small business owners, and home based business owners, alike!

FOLLOW-UP is VITAL to Your Business Success

As a business professional that relies on sales, you simply must understand how critical the follow-up process is to your short term and long term success.

Why do so many NOT follow-up?
They assume that if someone isn’t interested today…right now,
they are never going to be.


Nothing could be further from the truth.

Look at these statistics and you’ll quickly
see the power in following up:


48% of sales people never follow up with the prospect
25% of sales people make a second contact and then stop
Only 2% of sales are made on the first contact
3% are made on the second contact
10% of sales are made on the fourth contact

AND


80% of Sales are Made Somewhere Between the 5th and 12th Contact.

Do you follow up with everyone at least 5 times? Will you commit to 12 times?


If you KNOW the statistics are stacked in your favor,
what would stop you from keeping in touch with your former, and potential, business prospects every 2 to 3 months?

Just keep in touch and keep your name and business in their mind.

Knowing that 80% of Sales Happen After a 5th Exposure,
Why would you NOT Follow-up?

Simple Success Principles – Part 3

Your Attitude Determines Your Altitude

This is Part 3 of a 6 Part Series. Did you miss Part 1 & 2?

As I mentioned in Part 1, there are certain core principles, regardless of the profession or course of action, that have proven to create success when followed.


Other skill sets may need to be developed, but sticking with these solid principles will lend to your success.

Use these as guideposts in your own success journey and check in on them regularly and ask yourself – “Am I following these principles on a daily basis?”.

These principles are:
– Show Up Daily
– Be Consistent
– Control Your Attitude
– Have a Non-Negotiable, Burning Desire
– Be Willing to Pay the Price
– Have Faith

In this post, we’re going to focus on Controlling Your Attitude

Control Your Attitude – it’s easy to think that as long as we are taking action and doing the tasks of building our business, that it doesn’t matter what we are thinking internally, or how our attitude is.

But, this is wrong thinking. People sense where you are in terms of your belief, commitment and general thinking.

I’m sure you can remember a time when you met up with someone having a really bad day. Maybe they didn’t even say a word, but you could feel it.

How about those people we all have in our lives.  You know the ones…they never seem to have a good thing to say about anything.  And they are always talking about how bad things are for them; their current ailment; financial woes, etc.

It’s mentally draining just being in their company, right?  Well…YOU can’t be that person!

Sure, we all have bad times.  But those who can continually switch their perspective, and stay focused on the positive, will always come out winners!

And as a business owner, that type of attitude is VITAL to success!
Start each day with a routine that gets your attitude off on the right track!

Remember, you control your thoughts, your feelings and your actions.

Control Your Attitude – Raise Your Altitude!

Are You In Prison. . . And Don’t Even Know It?

Maybe You Are. . .


I hope my blog post today will ruffle a few feathers or at least get many people thinking really hard about their situation.


Let me be blunt with you…


YOU MIGHT BE IN PRISON AND DON’T EVEN KNOW IT!


What do I mean by that?Harriett-Tubman


Harriet Tubman once said, “I freed a thousand slaves. I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves.”


Many people don’t realize that they are slaves to their jobs.


They have to arrive at a certain time. They can only leave at a certain time.


They have to get permission to have time off, go on vacation, or even stay home because they’re sick.


Many people with jobs think they are trapped with no way out.


If more people realized they were slaves to their jobs, they would try to break free.

(Let me also add here, I know there are people out there that LOVE their chosen career path.  If you are truly happy with how you spend your time, and have all the free time you wish to do the things you truly enjoy…YEAH!  For those of you that DO NOT…you may want to continue reading this post.)


So today ask yourself this question…

“Am I really free?”


If the answer is YES than congratulations!


If the answer is NO then well… I’ll let you decide what you are going to do.


The good news is there is a way out.
