  eos can scale, my opinion eos will be a very useful blockchain,Delegated Proof of Stake algorithm drives EOS by removing scalability issues typically seen in Proof of Stake currencies, limiting the number of transactions that the network can conduct at one time due to consensus congestion.

  Ethereum cannot migrate to proof of stake and bring transaction fees to reasonable levels, ethereum-based defi apps will struggle to grow. For any business / industry to grow, consumers need to view the services provided as convenient and a good value. We are getting to a point where defi on ethereum is only practical for large transactions – a far cry from attracting the masses.

  We are looking for volunteers to be Technical Mentors at the EOS Global Hackathon in Hong Kong, June 9-10. Applicants who are accepted will receive travel expenses to and from Hong Kong, as well as hotel expenses, up to the value of US$2,000.

  In addition to being a vital part to our kick-off hackathon, applicants will have the chance to share their knowledge of the platform and help those who are trying to build amazing and innovative projects on EOSIO.

  Teams from around the world are lined up to participate in the first event in our EOS Global Hackathon series – which will include five events from June to December.   Is EOS is a scam ? Why did they structure the ICO like they did and why they (block.one) aren’t launching the actual blockchain.
  Once a successful mainnet launches and the hundreds of projects that have been quietly building on EOS start launching and airdroping tokens, the level of FOMO will be something never whitnessed before.
  Many folks truly believe EOS will be a catalyst to bring the rest of the crypto market out of this bear trend.
  We know these are some bold predictions, but we can back them up with statistics.

  1) EOS is consistently one of the highest volume tokens traded in Korea and China. The Chinese interest in EOS is unlike any other crypto. Just look at the volume on exchanges and the amount of interest Chinese to become BP’s.

  2) EOS has by far the biggest community in crypto, and it’s not a bunch of “lambo-moon-frat boys.” The EOS community is by far one of the most educated in what the project is and how we as a community have to participate to make EOS work to its maximum potential.

  3) Unlike many projects which rely on a central entity to make everything happen, EOS, once launched will not rely on block.one or Dan Larimer to grow into its potential. Already has a very vibrant development community with many more jumping on board. Also easy for any programmer to write something for EOS as its C++ and web assembly. No need to learn Solidity or Haskell.

  4) With this easy entry for programmers, we expect to see something similar to what we saw when Apple and GOOGLE launched their smart phones and app stores. The innovation and Dacs that will be built on EOS, can and will replace some of these very centralized tech companies (Facebook, Uber, Airbnb).

  5) Last year ETH was what drove the entire market, it spawned the ICO craze, all this culminating around the time of Consensus, when all these ICO’S (all of them launching on ETH) had a place to debut their ideas.
  This drove ETH sky high, also propelling the ICO fomo, and all that money siphoned back into BTC last year driving it and the entire market way up.
  Now that type of fomo and excitement will not happen again.

  This is where many folks feel EOS will be the next catalyst to move the markets. Once it launches and all these actual real world projects can launch on it and give airdrops instead of ICO’s this will bring a whole new fomo and excitement into the market.
  So I really think EOS has the potential to drive the market much like ETH did last year.

  The majority of the crypto community has no clue what EOS really is yet. So we don’t think we have even started to see the growth potential yet.

  EOS is an ICO on the Ethereum network. Even though, Ethereum is just a place for EOS to fund (EOS will have its own blockchain. Ether price will be supported because EOS will conduct its crowdsale for the whole year! (1 BILLION TOKENS).The biggest feature of EOS is its scalability.
